Quick Pink Pickled Onion Relish

Ingredients

1 Rosa Bella® Premium Pink Onion, finely diced

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

3/4 cup warm water

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)

Directions

In medium bowl, mix vinegar, water, sugar and salt until dissolved. Add diced onions. Stir in black pepper and red pepper flakes. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour, then transfer to clean jar and refrigerate. Keeps for 2 weeks or more in refrigerator. Best if made 2 days ahead.
