A study in fresh beginnings. The sun rises on a new day, burning through the fog from the riverbed. David’s iconic Paso Robles Oak, near Golden Hill Road, soaks up the rays as it has for countless days.

The line thicknesses vary widely; the result of three completely separate hard ground etches. These were followed by two aquatint tones (and bare plate, of course).

Edition of 125, black on white. Also an edition of 12 color variations. David dedicated the editions (black on white and color variations) to the 125th Anniversary of Paso Robles. 30% of the proceeds benefit the Friends of the Paso Robles Library.
